Just purchased a new Eternity Key from Sewell Lexus in Dallas. Got tired of the crappy cases cracking after about a year. Got a blank from a locksmith for $10 and he cut it for $40. That lasted about 6 months. The eternity key at Sewell was $79.95 cut. Have a look at them at www.eternitykey.com. They won't break under my use. Pop in your module and away you go.

The Eternity Key is not shown on the Sewell site. However, The part number is 89070EKS. Go to Catalog Quick Shop from the bottom home page menu bar to find details on this part.
I walked in and had one cut on the spot for me. My brother had his done too. If mail ordering, Lexus requires the owner to submit a copy of driver license and one other document with matching name and the VIN. Their order must contain the same bill-to and ship-to name matching the ownership documents requested.
Hope this helps.

Everything went great, and key is heavy duty as described.
I will note that when I emailed Sewell, they replied that they only sold the lexus key.
You have to enter this part number in the quick shop catalog as described.
Thanks,

Yea, the keys on my 2001 LS both cracked and finally broke(both OEM and I have hard the car for almost 10 years now), So I would have to keep the upper part of the key close the key when I turn it or the car would not start....This lasted for a few days.
Found 2 claimed OEM keys on ebay for $7 each, local locksmith, $20 per key to cut, put the guts inside the new key and now I have brand new keys
This was about 5-6 months ago, still working fine...
