Default Tranny question +

Hey fellas.
Wanted to find out if there is an updated software for my 01 ls430 tranny. My rpm is a little jumpy, sometimes there is a rough downshift. Otherwise it's nice and smooth. Tranny fluid changed every 10k and tranny filter changed 8k ago, no leaks from down under.
One more question. Anyone used Dr. Colorchip? I have some scratches I guess from haters which are plenty in NY . Does dr. colorchip really work?

Yeah, I heard about this tsb for 6 speed but I have the 5 speed and get the same symptoms as a 6 speed. I wonder if there is some trusted and tested aftermarket software for 5 speed LS430 transmission or maybe a dealer one.

NO software for 5-speed. Adjust your driving style. Helped me.
Also you can reset adapts by switching battery off for 15-mins. May help as well.

Looks for an Adam's apple and large hands

As for Dr Color chip, none of those gimmick stuff really works. I have a part time detail business and the only way to get rid of or hide scratches is to buff out using a rotary buffer and compound. Then a polish, sealant and wax to hide scratches. Silver paint hides imperfections well. It'll probably run you about $150-$250 to have it professionally done.
