Default My first LS430

So i got my 2001 LS430 today. This is my first lexus. I love it. It has a couple flaws but overall real nice car. Ill have some pics posted up tomorrow of it since it is dark outside at the moment. I do have my first question however. When I was looking over the car I noticed something in the springs that appears to be spacing the coils further apart and assume that is raising the height of the car. These "things" are on all four corners of the car. Just wanting to double check that this isnt something that needs to be on the car. Below is a picture of what im describing. I sill be getting a set of Work Eurolines within the next two months to start the car off right. Suspension will follow shortly there after.

Cheap way to to add height on springs that are too low or are worn out.

Wow. I looked up the YouZealand SS kit and it looks like a bunch of brackets to me or am i missing something lol? I plan on using the SS kit with DF210's until i can afford air bags. I read that the SS kit with the 210's give a decent drop with stock shocks. I think i read 2"'s.
