Need help for 01 ls430 paint on hood is starting to oxidies never heard this happen to a lexus. Do you think this is something lexus would take care of, or am i on my own. Thanks

Welcome! I think you're on your own for a 10 year old car. I needed some dent and paint work on my car when I bought it. I took it to a couple quality body shops in the area to get quotes. I picked the place I had work done before (despite being more expensive) and they did a great job. You may only need a wet sanding. If it needs a re-spray, expect to pay up to $500. A hood may be cheaper since they can remove it and don't have to mask the rest of the car.

Take it to the best detail shop you can find in your city. A great detail shop can sometimes do wonders. The horizontal surfaces that the most beating from sun and elements (hood, roof, trunk).
