Default 120k Maintenance

Im thinking about buying this because I know I need an oil change and Im pretty sure I need new plugs as its a little rough on the idle and Im not sure when the last time they were changed was but I have a couple questions. One, how difficult is it to do the plugs, Ive read a little about it and it seems pretty simple to swap them out. Two, Ive heard from some people that its a good idea to do a sea-foam treatment before replacing the plugs as it can possibly foul them and also to do it before an oil change as youll want to change the oil soon after. And three, how hard is it to change out the brake fluid and coolant, is that something I could do at home or would I need to take it to a shop to get those done. Thanks. P.S. Im at almost exactly 120k

I have no prob doing PS fluid, AT drain and fill, or oil changes, but brake fluid and coolant are two things I personally let the pros do.

Yep change plugs after you do a fuel system cleaner rather than before.

Thanks, so would it make sense to buy the set so I can get all that stuff and then take it somewhere and have them do the procedure with my fluids?

You can almost always save money by bring your own parts and asking that they shop just charge labor. Any repair shop will always charge a premium for parts as they have to go buy them for you or hold them in inventory either of which is very expensive.

So you could order from Sewell but I don't know if that price for those items is actually a decent deal. You'd have to research online prices at a couple of different sources. I source filters and fluids from multiple places including Amazon and local parts stores and also use IronToad.com and Sewell Lexus online. Engine and cabin air filters from Lexus are usually pricey compared to other sources. Amazon sometimes has great better prices on air and oil filters (i prefer Wix brand) and if you order several items over $25 shipping is free and of course there is no sales tax.

Most shops up charge 15% on parts. This is pretty standard.
