05: Transmission shifts too quickly?
I'm getting another odd shifting pattern from my tranny. On certain accelerations, the transmission will be in 4th gear before I'm even at 40 mph. But since I'm still hitting the gas, the tranny will be forced to downshift into a lower gear to keep up with how much gas I'm giving. I'm not passing anyone or anything, just normal acceleration. It's like it shifts into 4th gear thinking I'm done accelerating, and then realizes oh crap, he's still giving it gas, better downshift and then the car accelerates again. The dealer has checked the car shifts at the right rpm, so I'm guessing this is how it's supposed to be.
Is that normal?
I've done the TSB, had the dealer reset the shift pattern so the car will learn my shifting patterns, and then lastly disconnected the negative terminal. The transmission shifts normally when I use the car in PWR mode.

In normal mode it is biased to economy and so tries to get in higher gears quickly. If you're driving in a leisurely way it is also smoother.
But if PWR feels more "normal" for you, just leave it there; it won't hurt anything.
