I used the guy in Texas via ebay - they have very good quality grills. I first got the chrome grill but got the black chrome after about 6 months as it looks better with my black cherry paint - but both grills are emblem-less.
Most of these grills are ordered form Asia and are made of ABS plastic that's been chromed and/or coated. It is probably safe to order this some what generic part from any vendor that has high feedback scores.
btw if someone wants the slightly used chrome grill with no emblem, PM me - I will let it go very cheap.

I ordered a similar chrome grille 4 years ago on eBay from delubozparts in Plano, TX.
The grille I received is an exact copy from the OEM, looks like it was poured from the same mold. It has the hole in the center for the Lexus emblem. Very high quality and still good as new. The change in the grille is so subtle that no one has every noticed it to my knowledge.
But it's just a little thing that I did to my car to give it something different without being radical.
You have to take the outer grille molding off in order to install the new grille. Very easy to do and give you an opportunity to clean and wax the hood area under the molding before installing the new one.
It was a bit cheaper back in 2007, I paid $140 plus shipping for a total of $155.
