Prayers to both of you from me.
Cherish the small private moments. Savor the love you share. Be embraced by friends and family. Be strong and be brave. Say what you feel with simple honesty.
Many people regret not saying "I love you" enough to a loved one. You now have your chance to make it count. To say it with brutal honesty and purity. It is a small privilege you now own. Take advantage of it.
Although you do not know what will occur in the future, you can certainly savor the present moment. Celebrate love and life!
I wish you both peace, wisdom, and healthy hearts, mind, & spirit.

So very sorry.
As a former Cadillac owner, I enjoyed reading about your travels over at CF forums,
as well as over here. I know how much the two of you enjoyed your cars and road
trips together.
There are no words of comfort, but I know that you and your wife were very devoted
to one another. I'm proud to know you as a forum friend.
God Bless.

Cad, Your posts have always been with such committment to your wife she must have been one in a buzzillion. I always admired what felt like the special bond you two shared from your posts and loving words here at CL. You have been a teacher here to myself and others as you have continually put your gal above yourself, thank you! Warm

Caddy, I can't tell you how saddened I am by the news of your loss. You have another local member here (Jackson/Lansing area) that stands ready to be of help in any way should you care to reach out.
In classic caddyowner style, it doesn't go unnoticed that even in this time of great sadness your thoughts are with others. I will indeed remind every woman I know to get checked and to regularly visit the doctor.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

No, I don't play soccer!
Caddy, my sincerest condolences. You are in my prayers. I'd like to offer something I wrote when I lost my grandmother suddenly many years ago.
With a tear in my eye
And a humble smile upon your face
Now I must say goodbye
As you enter God’s eternal grace
Every time I cry
An answer I tempt to find
Because not a moment goes by
That you are not in my mind
Even though you are gone
And memories are all that is left
I know you are not alone
For you are among God’s best.
With a tear in my eye
And a humble smile upon your face
Now I must say goodbye
As you enter God’s eternal grace
Every time I cry
An answer I tempt to find
Because not a moment goes by
That you are not in my mind
Even though you are gone
And memories are all that is left
I know you are not alone
For you are among God’s best.

I'm sorry to hear the news of your wife. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. A family friend of ours that was like a grandmother to me during my childhood passed from lung cancer a few years ago. She went quietly and peacefully and that's all I could have ever asked for at that time.
