This car is great...stupid for me to say, everything like mine only my steering is on the other side
Why don't you get a beatsonic kit and some nice double din radio with ipod/nav/bluetooth/etc?
I did that and all in all it was about $600...

I doubt any of the speakers will be blown as you got pioneer sound inside, not ml...
Pioneer rarely blows and almost every ml does...

WOW. That's really low. I checked with one of the Toyota dealers here and it was 890. The other Toyota dealer is calling me back. The Lexus dealer was 1016.

I think 710 is gonna be my lowest price. Too bad I can't get it fixed at your Toyota dealer. That extra 260 would pay for my Ipod and Bluetooth....

To be honest I haven't really looked into the Beatsonic kits. Will see what I can find out about them. Really like the OEM look though...

maybe i got lucky. they had a coupon going for the timing belt service. local lexus dealer wanted more than twice that amount. i'm in the phoenix area. i have all my servicing done at the toyota dealer. the price differential is amazing.

Coupon was probably the difference. Just the parts through Sewell run 330 wi the CL discount. That's not including 5 hours of labor. So I would say 450 was a screaming deal.

Thanks for the link. Does look great. Almost looks like it came like that. I have a pioneer head unit in my land cruiser and had one in my ES. Good products in my opinion at a good price point.

My first mod is the IPOD integration. I purchased the USA SPEC model. It was 120 off of Amazon and another 29.99 from Crutchfield for the wiring harness. I used the thread about removing the stereo and installing the VAIS unit. Perfect instructions.

I bought one of the storage boxes to replace the ash tray. I will say it took me a while to change out the door so it would match. I don't smoke and wanted to use my Iphone so I wanted to have it within reach and not in the glove box. I used a Dremel to drill a hole in one end so I could feed the Ipod connector through. The cable stays in the box and I can close the door. Here is how it turned out.

I am looking for 4 center caps that match my wheels. I had my tires rotated today and was told that all 4 of the caps have duck tape on them because at least one of the clips on each cap is broken. I posted a WTB in the wheels and tires section. Thought I would post here since it is LS 430 specific.

I was doing an inspection on an '03 LS430 CL (or whatever the hell the CL package would have been called back then) last year and Eddy's Toyota in Wichita quoted 599 regular price for the t-belt service and 540 with a 10 percent off coupon, so I'd say finding the right Toyo dealer is the key. 599 blew me away alone knowing what the dealer charges, then when she said there was a coupon on top of that I was amazed. Too bad I didn't end up needing to do it at the time (since we didn't get that car).
