Fumes in cabin under hard accleration
Hello everybody, I have a month old 2004 ls 430 with 86,000 miles on it, I noticed under hard accleration I get some type of strong fume in the cabin I can't figure out what type fume or where it's coming from. I just recently had my 430 serviced at Lexus two days ago for an oil change and everything came back good so they say. So I'm just wondering has anyone has delt or heard of this problem. I really appreciate your feed back guys so I know my next step… thanx

Most 430 have it... It's a mystery. On mine it smells like fresh engine oil (N_O_T burnt, for ppl who love to jump the gun). No oil loss between changes...
Had me stumped as well.

The closet resemblance is it smells like a someone farted lol but that really the truth cuz when I ride wit friends that's what they always say, my guess would maybe be exhaust fumes. I had a friend follow behind and asked him when I step on the gas does smoke come out the tail pipes they said no, so i really don't know.… one more thing I'm a newbie to the forum and took some pics of her and want to post it but don't kno how
