LS Cruise Control?
Hello folks- Newbie here.
I just "inherited" a 2003 LS430 as my new company car. It's high mileage, but in very good condition inside and out. Everything seems to work fine, except the cruise control- it does not have the radar system to my knowledge, just regular cruise. The system won't seem to turn on- no dash indicator lights up, and it does not function. I looked for a fuse in the owner's manual, but cannot seem to find a cruise control fuse on the charts...am I missing something? I figured I'd check the fuse first, before taking to a dealer for "inspection" as the owners manual states. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance for all comments and suggestions.

Welcome! Radar adaptive cruise control has the clear square protection shield in front of the Lexus logo on the grille. Cars with laser adaptive cruise control don't have that shield, but have sensors on the right side of the lower grille below the bumper. Cars with standard cruise control have no distinguishing exterior ID. If you have radar or laser adaptive cruise control that is not functioning, you can activate the standard cruise control if you press the button at the end of the short stalk and immediately push and hold the small stalk away from you. You can the use the cruise control as a normal system with +/- 1 MPH speed changes when you move the stalk up/down.

Thanks for the reply-
The car does not have adaptive cruise control- only the standard cruise control. The system does not turn on. I've tried to engage it a few times, to no avail. It does say in the owners manual that if the cruise control indicator does not light up, to take it to a dealer. I was hoping that maybe someone else had had this issue as well, and might enlighten me.
