From the Sewell online diagrams it appears you can just replace one motor. They both have the same part number (well one is 16363 and the other is 16363A). Assume that difference is for the left or the right side installation. 16363 is the DS motor
Maybe someone can give you a more definite answer than "maybe"

Be sure to check fan relays and electrical connections - just because the specific fan is not turning does not mean it is broken could be bad relay, wiring fault, bad or dirty connectors etc . You should be able to check the fan by running 12v test leads direct from battery to the fan positive and ground and see if it spins.

It might be your fan controller. It happen to my 04 ls430, I thought it was my fan motor but turn out to be my fan controller. It's located on the fan shroud, a silver or black square thin box with two plugs , mounted on the fan shroud. Every time I get stuck in traffic with the ac on my temp would go up. Son you might want to check the controller

My fan is about to go too....
Actually, yes, you can replace just the motor, it's about 250usd part (oh yeah).
And no, it's not same part for both left and right. It's different. And it also have 2 or 3 possible variations on that.
If you PM me your VIN, i will be able to get you exact part number for a/c fan motor you need.
cheers

I had the lexus dealership check the car($248) and they told me to replace the radiator fan motor and a/c fan motor. Not sure if a/c fan motor is also called "blower fan motor". Right now left radiator fan motor if not working. They said it would cost me $560 for each part and $125 an hour in labor. Dealers are rip off. Thank You all for ur help anyway!
