Hey guys, new LS 430 owner here. Last week I had a friend install an ISimple devise in my car so I would have Ipod connectivity. They a day after he installed it for me. I do not have the "GPS" showing on my nav screen. Were gonna look at it this weekend, hopefully its just a loose connection or not connected wire. He tore alot of stuff apart since he had to connect to the tuner in the trunk and run stuff up to my dash. I also did the nav hack and I am not sure what all the info on there means, but from where I have read, I think there was something about status that had "- -_" and this means no satilite connectivity.

Any ideas ? Or what I should be looking for when I input the nav hack ? I also read that one poster had nav issues and disconnected the battery and never saw an issue again.

It better not be a dead nav system. Just bought the car. 2003 with 100,000 miles

Hoping for the loose wire since this issue didn't occur until we tore into the car.
