Default Headlight trouble!

My passenger healdlight will flicker when I turn them on, and eventually go out all together. I can turn the lights off and immediatly turn them back on and it will flicker and go out again? Would this be the bulb??
Thanks

the balast is most likely bad.you need a shop manual to trouble shoot.

The ballast is just like ones in your florescent shop lights. It jumps starts the HID bulbs and keep a steady current to them.
