05LS430 driver's side rear vanity mirror

Fixed my drivers side rear vanity mirror
Fixed, let’s see how long the JB weld holds. So far so good. Third try actually worked. I couldn’t glue it together then drill out the hole, it would just break again. So I had to take care not to fill the hole, using a small mail to clean it out as I went. Gonna try to get this guy to 3D print a few for me in case this one breaks again.

Here is 3D printer file of the broken catch for anybody who wants it
Gluing the piece is very difficult. If you have a 3D printer, you should be able to use the file I have to print a brand new one. PM me if you need it, not sure it’ll let me attach the file here…

Hi,
My rear vanity mirror latch broke. I just joined the forum and I’m not able to PM you? I would like the file to 3-D print this part. Is there any other way I could get it from you?

Yes, I figured I would try to get the file and if not take apart the other side and bring it to a 3D printer shop along with the one for the front sunglasses holder latch. Thank you for replying.

Strangely, the printed one didn’t work for my sunglasses holder. It’s a tiny bit not long enough to catch. Sometime I’ll have to extend the piece by a small amount. Or someone else can-all my stuff is fixed now so…
