Excellent. I wish they did the brushed alu look in other colours, but so far I've only found it in silver.

I'm still struggling with the wood insert in my door panel. I swear its bolted in. Maybe I should remove the whole door panel and look at it from behind

Hey the carbon weave wrap looks good (the second set of pictures, where it doesn't look blue, haha)! Sorry I don't know how to take the wood off the door, but I would imagine to start taking off the door panel first and looking behind it as a first step. If it's glued on, then I suppose your only resort is to pry it off without breaking it or wrap over it and tuck around the edges the best you can.

Reminds me of a story:

About 30 years ago, we were new to a neighborhood and were invited over by a nice, older British couple. (BTW, They were lobbying for me to hire their son who would soon be graduating from college in the UK. We hired him and he was an excellent employee.) When I returned from washing my hands before dinner, the lady asked if I noticed anything special about the wallpaper in the powder room since her husband had just re-done it the week before. I turned around and looked, but didn't see anything special. She announced in her decidedly British accent, "Oh, Phillip put it up wrong and all the butterflies are flying down the loo!"

Another note:
One of the members on the Toyota Owners Club here is Australia has found out that a more realistic gloss finish can be easily accomplished by layering a smoked gloss vinyl over the top of the carbon Di-Noc. This gives a very realistic wet carbon result, best results require the smoke to the heated to conform to the carbon, ie hot air gun or hair dryer. The only problem is the double thickness of films can reduce the clearance of parts fitting together, so some shaving down of the parts may need to be done if required.
