Default low windshield fluid error

I got the message for low wiper fluid so I full the bottle up but the message did not go awe as it usually would. Anyone have any ideas, I am leaning to a bad sensor as I do not have any leaks but does any one know if I need to check anything else. Car is an 04 ls. Thanks

Are there separate reservoirs for windshield and headlight washers? That's all I can think of.

I do not have the headlight washer so I am leaning towards the sensor on the reservoir, I will try to check it this weekend but it goes in for service soon so I will update you on the fix. The red triangle is just annoying.

Do the ultimate reset...unplug the battery.

I will say, it's f'in annoying driving around with low fluid bc every time you give it gas from a stop it beeps.

I made a hammer fist and very firmly tapped on the top of the washer fluid canister about 3 times, and it loosened up the float on the inside. The indicator light went off. Try this before disconnecting anything.

Yes guys these stinking things sometimes have the float gets stuck so you have to jar the reservoir to knock it loose and it should start working properly.
