Default FM2 is missing

Hi Guys,

Sorry I checked all over and cant find the answer for this.

How come FM2 band is missing on my radio in LS430 2004, original radio.

When I press the FM button it only gives me FM1.

DOes the radio need to be programmed or somethin?

Ciao.

Have you tried to toggle the audio sources with the 'mode' button on the left side of the steering wheel? It should go through all the different radio modes.

Tried that, all it gives me is AM and FM1 ... nothing else...

I have no idea why its doin that because all the cars I owned have FM2.

Did you get the battery checked? You keep finding electrical gremlins and it would help to start at the source. When you're under the hood, look for signs of burning or arcing around the battery connections. Someone (previous owner?) may have jumped the car incorrectly and fried a number of things. If you just recently bought this car from a dealer, I would seek their assistance in correcting these issues.
