Default Thanksgiving Giveaway: Wheels and Tires

Okay, I have wheels and tires in the garage, the attic and even behind the barbeque in the yard. And now yet another set of wheels coming for the Acura. So I gotta make some space before the wife notices...

Since I've gone to LS430 OE 18s, I have a set of 17" OEM chromies w/ 225/55/17 Michelin Primacy tires taking up valuable space in the garage. The wheels do have some curb marks, but are true/round and the chrome is intact, not flaking and shiny. The tires have 5/32 to 6/32" tread left and are apparently balanced well as they rode fine when I took them off. Anyway as I hate to sell stuff, I was hoping someone would give these a good home. Cost is: free.

There are some criteria: 1) Whoever gets them intends to use them on their LS430.
2) As I absolutely hate to ship anything, the recipient will have to be able to pick them up in Socal 91360.

As my new wheels are shipping now, I hope to get the LS 17s gone by next week.
Please pm me and also leave reply on thread.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving, John

Don't need these but that's a nice thing for you to do, someone lucky out there hopefully can use these.

I'd love a set of OEMs for my winter wheels, but I'm on the other side of the country. I'm sure someone local will pop up soon. Really cool of you to hook someone up here.

Agree very nice to give away to a good home. Happy Thanksgiving. If no one local need them at this time on the forum, you could try eBay sales with local pickup only with a short 5 day sale to clear them out quick.

Very nice of you Monkeybutt - (I realize your name is John but typing Monkeybutt is way more fun!)

Are these the 6 spoke chrome or 7 spoke chrome wheels? If they're the 6 spokes, I'd be interested in saving you some valuable garage space

Thanks,

Brian

Okay I have a taker who will conveniently pick up the set on Friday. After talking to him for a bit I realized that it was pics of his white LS that inspired me to set up my crystal parchment ride similarly. I really liked his nice yet practical drop on NF210s and 18" Lexus 5-spokes. A bit more sporty, smooth and still classy. So thanks BNR34. As Caddyowner said it really is a small world.

bcorey, thanks for the understanding pm. And you are correct, you are lucky, not for the least of being a class act.

I'm glad your pay-it-forward worked out. I'm also glad you didn't mention which brand(s) and how much beer he's bringing over on Friday or I might have had to kick your monkeybutt thread into the classified section.

Monkeybutt - thanks for the kind words I've admired BNR34's ride for quite some time as well - are you going to go with the 15 and 25mm spacers too?

BNR34 - any issues with the spacers at this point? Ride still looks fabulous - somewhat modded with enough touch of the stock look to still look classy -
