Hi - I successfully did the MAF clean and throttle body clean, and disconnected the battery before starting. When I reconnected the battery, I got a strange sound from the CD changer and then I got the "CD ERROR" message.

Very disappointed.
Any thoughts?

What kind of music do you have loaded in there? The ML's cold power-up sequence reads the car's location from the GPS and then verifies that the correct music is loaded. In TX, it accepts both kinds of music: country AND western. Otherwise, you get the CD ERROR message.
Obviously, I have no technical expertise in this area besides levity.
