Hello,

I have an 02 Ultra with 140k miles. As long as I can remember the trans has worked perfectly.

Recently I've noticed that under relatively light acceleration the car will upshift into 4th much too quickly which then results in it immediately downshifting back to 3rd before finally engaging 4th at the correct point.

This is all happening with constant/steady throttle input. Not any better in pwr mode and it's fine with more throttle input (say above 35%).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

That's the same symptom my 05 (and others on this forum) experience. But of course that's with the 6 speed transmission.
