Default warranty chat Ching

From time to time I see people discussing whether warranties are worth having. I have a warranty on my LS about 4 years and it is only paid out about 1200$ So far the only repairs I've had are the rear sunshade and eyeglass holder. I thought the warranty would not pay for itself which is over the end 2012. This week they replaced my air conditioning system at a cost of over 4000$ The warranty cost about 3000 dollars and I have about a year left of coverage. So my vote is to get the warranty.

My experience is similar... in first year of CPO, they replaced 3 bearing/hub assemblies, side view mirror glass and some other stuff I can't remember... it has paid for itself in the first year!

Any more info on why the airconditioning system had to be replaced? What's the year and mileage on your LS?
