I just bought that 01 LX instead of a F150. It should do everything I need plus have the advantages of lower cost, ability to seat 7 (grandkids), full-time 4wd, and much more reasonable size.

You will be very happy with that purchase. I have a 00 LC and I love it. The LS is my DD and the LC is the hobby car.

That is a good deal. at 20K for an 2006. In order for me to get another LS430 it has to be a 2004+ and below $17,500 with under 80K miles and within 100 miles That is my challenge and punishment for selling my perfect, paid off 2001 with 85K miles with updated mods. My car note debt cannot be more that $5000-6000.
