I bought the car used in April 2010...2004 LS430 UL, pretty much all options. Outside of pulling my car apart to look for the satellite radio unit, how could I tell if the car has the unit installed?

 

The car doesn't have any built-in satellite radio antenna, so if someone added the kit, you should have an antenna affixed somewhere that you can see it. Usually it is on the rear deck, on the trunk lid, or affixed to one of the windows.

 

Press the SAT button and see if you get the SiriusXM preview. If you do, you're good to go!

 

No preview and no external antenna...womp womp.

I wonder if I should just get something to integrate my phone into the Sat channel, so I can just stream music instead of having to subscribe every month.

 

8 bucks a month, worth it for me i am in the boondocks often.

 

+1 im not in the middle of no where but I hate commercials... and I often drive the LS to CA so its worth it to me!
