Please help, windshield washer fluid not spraying on 04 LS
So a few weeks ago my washer fluid just completely stopped spraying. I figured I must be low on fluid so I went out and bought some. I made sure to buy some of the Rain X stuff that doesnt freeze up up to -30 degrees. I refilled the tank and it took about 75-80% of a gallon of the stuff. I figured problem solved but didnt test it right then.
So this morning it was about 18 degrees and the windshield was covered with ice. Sure enough, I go to hit the washer fluid, and zero, zilch, nada. Still nothing sprays out no matter what I do. Its kind of difficult to diagnose as all thats really visible is about an inch or so of the tubing near the hood hinge where its snaked from the engine bay to the hood, and at least there, it looks fine. Can anyone tell me what/where to look at? Is this a common problem with a simple solution by any chance?

Can you hear the pump run when someone hits the spray button? If you can't hear the washer pump run first thing to check is the fuse for the washer pump. Check your manual for location. If the fuse is OK and you can hear pump but no spray it may be that you had pure water in the system and its frozen in the hoses. Take the car to a garage or indoor parking and see if it sprays when it thaws out. If still no spray your pump or relay for the pump may be bad..might need to go into the shop for diagnoses and repair.

Great advice, thanks!! I dont think anything is frozen in there as the issue was with me even in 50 degree + weather. But checking the pump and fuse is an excellent place to start. Ill get back to you.
Anyone know off hand which fuse box it is in, drivers side or pass?

Damn thing just started working for no explainable reason?! Hasnt worked in over a month of even unseasonably warm weather. I have no idea what the heck just happened and why its working now.

My squirters were not working. I opened up the LH front wheelwell plastics, unsnapped the two squirter connectors and hosed them down with contact cleaner stuff*. It seemed to fix the problem. I imagine access to them will be nasty if you don't have a warm, dry garage. One squirter is for windshield, one is for headlights (on UL). Both draw from the same reservior.
I like this stuff for all connectors..and PC boards...and electrical stuff.

Mine froze up at about just that 18 degrees going up to the UP this weekend after a 20 inch dump skiing. It was all over as it went south to subzero. Resorted to tossing white stuff on the windshield so I could see. It was dangerous with the salt and road grime. Pump worked fine finally got the pass nozzle to work, then cottonmouth again till I got above freezing. This has happened before. Knock on wood things will thaw in a month or to sidetrack this design flaw.
Otherwise with new GY tires and stabilitrack felt like I had 4WD even on ice. Knee deep pow all weekend. The cold temps tighten up bushings and suspension so it feels like a roadster. I know I know better you than me ha ha!

Only sense I can make of it all is that while it was empty for a long time, I must have sucked in a lot of air into the system and it took me a while to work all the air out of the system. Once that was all worked out the fluid was back in the system and free to spray. That, or my car is haunted.
