Ls430 Entire repaint
Ok so first, hey everybody im new to the forums! Secondly i have a LS430 03' and i want to get a repaint from pearl to black. Honestly i have no clue on how to go about this. Would i find a trusted paint shop and they would do it? Also does anyone have an estimate on roughly how much something like this cost. Sorry for such a simple question but help would be greated appreciated.

i figure any where from 2-8 grand depending how much they paint and how well of a job they do removing everything painting and then putting everything back on. the shop you take it to will do all the work.

I imagine you would want to do the jams, hood trunk lids, and how would you do the engine bay without yanking the engine? I would not want any tell tale signs it was a repaint.

Changing colors is significantly more expensive than same color paint job if you want inside pieces to match. You may be better off by selling current car and getting the color you want. Of if you really love the current car and it needs paint anyway then go for it.

God, that sounds amazing unfortunately I live in Va & that shop is in Seattle or something. I really want my car black but looks like that won't be happening anytime soon

I get the feeling this won't end well. Lexus is famous for its paint; looking for a "discount" job will only leave you disappointed - and your car looking bad.
If you want a dark car, trade it in - lots for sale out there right now. You can pick up a 2003 for a little over $10K right now, and a 2004 to 2006 for a few thousand more.

I was only presenting options. I've never seen a wrapped car - up close. Can they only do flat finishes? Of course if you do a wrap, you could design your very own graphics. hee hee Maybe the best part is that a wrap can be peeled off.
