2013 LS and design fear

I have those same thoughts. Looking at the JDM tuner market and what some of the body kits have for grill work, I'm not liking. The designers are usually more conservative but the GS departs from that. I still haven't warmed to the front and if this transition carries over to more models, I don't know.
It is to bad that Lexus has not settled on a defining grill like one can associate with BMW and some other Euro based cars. These retain a basic approach decade after decade. That can be stuffy as well. Lexus went with that similar rear quarter window with the IS, RX and LS, with faint hints in the GS. That worked IMO.

Ill have to respectfully disagree.
Most everyone knows when they see an S class or a 7 series that theyre looking at big money and those cars command respect by just about everyone. C classes and 3 series? Sorry but no. And only an idiot could look at something as outrageous as an SLR Mclaren and not be able to distinguish it from its lower brethren. They may not know what it is, but they will know its likely more $$ than their house. IT practically screams it.
The current LS looks little more than a Camry or an ES to most everyone IMO. The last LS didnt.
