WELCOME!! TO CL and I also am currently driving a 02' Ls430. All I can say is since I switched from other v6-v8 2 door sports to 4 door cars is no comparison to a Lexus V8 Sedan. It's like a Japanese Benz but with less on maintenance and headaches. I got mine at a hi mileage as well and was 3rd owner of the LS, and overall since driving it for a little over a year I had no issues with it, and I kept up with my oilchange regularly, and just recently repleaced all new brake pads. I was also lucky that the timing belt was already replaced when i got the car.

It's very helpful to maintenance that's needed and it' will keep record of all your maintenance service records for you as well, and will keepi updating to what service is next to be needed and will email you to remind you as well.
So my friend you pick the right class sedan to own and enjoy..

Had my 01 LS since 2003, 80K miles later I only changed the brakes and tires...
Everything else is good and does not need work.
I have a 03 Cadillac Seville STS for three years now and it seems like I work on it every week.
