Default Interference or non-interference

Which type of motor is in the '06 LS430? My IS has an interference motor and at one point, we thought the timing belt had broken and ruined the motor. Fortunately, that wasn't the case

Yes, it is an interference engine.

Only the first generation LS400 had a non-interference engine.

Good to know.

What is the recommend mileage for the timing belt service - 90k? I think that is what it was on my IS.
