Default Black Interiors... Wow

I have a 98 SC400 and really love the car. The other day I was browsing around the classifed listings and came across a LS430 at a very good price. Unfortunately I'm not at a position to upgrade right now, but what caught me absolutely staggered was the beauty of the Black Interior's combined with the extremely vibrant but yet natural looking wood. Something about the contrast between the two puts even Jaguar to shame (forget about MB, BMW).

I know what I want my next car to be. Flint Mica on Black with Chrome 5-Spoke's.

Happy Easter everyone.

As an aside, no picture can do the color combination justice. It's simply stunning in real life. On the down side, my '02 Silver/Ecru w/ Gray Birdseye Maple combo is one helluva lot easier to keep clean (externally) than my better half's '06 Flint Mica/Black. Nevertheless, she says it's worth the extra upkeep (which she does herself!)

That pic doesnt do it justice (esp with the faded wheel). I love my black interior (Murcury Metallic Clearcoat).

I origionally wanted a Black LS but they all came with grey interior that i could fine. When i saw the grey on black i have now.. i was hooked.

Im in the VIP scene so matched with all black accessories it really makes for a clean set up.

I traded in my 05 CL Flint / Black / Chrome with 64K miles last week at Lexus of Lansing in Michigan. Give them a call if interested as it hasn't hit their website yet. I can answer any questions you have about the car.

I just purchased an '04 LS430 with the Black Onyx exterior and the black leather interior with that same color woodgrain interior. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do now! I love it!

I LOVE my black on black LS. BTW- the wheel is not faded, it is just CAKED with disgusting oil and conditioner, it should be matte in finish. The wheel needs an intensive deep cleaning. it makes all the difference in it feeling like a new car 100%

I have a 2002 black on black and I love it. By the way, I don't think the wheel is supposed to be a matte finish. Mine is shiny as can be and the color matches all the other interior wood perfectly.

I don't think its faded, It looks like it was refinished or something. Even the bottom portion of the wheel it discolored.

Yes I agree; black is the best color BY FAR! I'd be a lil weary of that car bc if the steering wheel doesn't match, something's not right. Wish my interior was black; mine's gray, which is still pretty stunning but still.....Black is the best....

As good as it looks, it really is HOT in the summer in a place like Dallas. Of course, we already have 80 degree highs at the beginning of April...and that's the norm. In the summer, the temp never falls below 78 or so.

If I'm ever in the position to do so, maybe I can get a "winter car" with black leather.

That looks to me like the steering wheel was replaced at one time, possible airbag deployment.

BTW...Love my Black on Black.
