Has anyone tried the new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in 245/45/ZR18? I have these tires on my other car (in MB size) a MBZ E500 and they are wonderful, hold the road like glue and very quiet. They are the newest Michelin to hit the market. I had the Michelin Primacy's that everyone seems to love on my 2004 LS430 with the OEM 18 inch. chromed wheels. I was wondering if the Super Sports are too high performance for the LS. Thanks

I am on my 3rd set of tires at 165k, why not. May be a bit rougher on bumpy roads but fine and a worthwhile tradeoff for gluing to the road as best ya can in a LS.
Just gotta offer up some extra doe and life expectancy. I know going stiffer from a H to a V I would do again on my 04 Goodyears.
