Best Solution for Ipod/Iphone Integration in 04-06 LS
I am sure this has been discussed numerous times in the past, but i would like to know the best solution for Ipod/iphone integration on a NAV/ML Equipped 04-06 LS.
I would like to utilize stock Navi screen for Playlists/Artists/Tracks and would like to be able to control via steering wheel.
I know there is vaistech unit but for the whole package (Integration & Sound quality) which one is recommended.
Thanks.

Vaistech for LS 430
Recently had a Vaistech installed in my 2006 LS 430 CL. It works great and has better sound
quality than CDs. I use an iPhone and I use Spotify all the time. For iTunes music you have to put all your songs into playlists. You can then see song title and artist on your Nav screen.
Instead of having to find songs in playlists, I run the Vaistech in what is called "Simple Mode". You can then pick and choose songs from your device. You can also tell "Siri" to play a particular song and it will! Steering controls and ML controls work perfectly.

I installed the iSimple system in my LS. It has both iPhone and satellite integration. Quite easy to install (you actually MUST read the manual) but I have a couple gripes. The interconnects appear to be S-video cables and pull out fairly easily. Second, the display only shows 10 characters unlike the Vaistech's 16. But I couldn't find a Vaistech that had iPhone and satellite.

cassette adaptor obviously not as good sound quality
yes, I agree, the cassette adaptor works fine. The Vaistech has much better sound quality.
