I changed from 18" to 16" rims with P7's. Even after a full front suspension refresh, 16" rims and 28 psi the car is still very stiff I didn't expect it to be so stiff when I bought the car. But maybe it's because I daily'd a 1979 GM boat for 5 years.
The 18 and 19 look far superior but I don't know how you guys live with that.
Here's the car now after a 5000km roadtrip, didn't skip a beat. I'll be keeping her for a long time.
Stiff ride but those windy american mountain backroads at 50 mph were a pleasure!
New here... unsure what these came off of. They look like 460 wheels to me but I was told bolt pattern is different. Maybe older GS? Not really a fan but they'll do until I find what I want.

Those are 460 wheels. Have you taken the tire off? There's probably an adapter on the hub.
Lexus OEM 18" G-spider rims 8" wide front, 8,5" rear. 245/45/18 tires. Fitment and ride is perfect!! I was concerned will they clear the massive front calipers but luckily they did and no spacers needed.

Hmm, I would suggest to start looking at suspension refreshment / replacement, as LS430 suspension is extremely smooth by default, especially if we are dealing with 16 inch wheels. There should be quite a range of acceptable tire pressure which still maintains a well engineered ride comfort.
Here is why i am suggesting this. I am currently driving a 2006 ls430 with lots of mods, and I do remember the car behavior before i started looking at different issues. Indeed i remember harsh riding, steering wheel shake, instability on the highway, issues with tires, overall feeling of sluggish driving experience.
This is no longer the case. My tire pressure is almost 10 psi more than yours - its 37 at the moment. I have Kumho summer tires. I did the overhaul suspension work, which included Sport (!) coilovers which i set to comfort mode after doing multiple tests. I did replace tons of bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, and engine parts.
Thank to all that, i did achieve an incredibly smooth ride on my 18 inch wheels. Everyone who drives with me comments about the quality and overall feel of comfort. There is not such a thing as harsh ride anymore. I do not feel tiny bumps, no steering whobling, no hesitation, no shakes, no nothing. Just pure lexus standard drive experience.

I replaced the entire front suspension myself except the lower control arms and springs so the only original bushing is the lower front and I have stabilizer bushing on my desk to be installed soon. I am not a mechanic but enjoy working on cars. The mistake I made was tightening suspension components without the weight on the car. I went back and loosened everything and retightened with the lower control arms on jack stands. This made a big difference. I feel stupid but now I know. I run the tires at 26 psi because I like the car to feel like a marshmellow. Yep, I know the tires will wear faster and I'll get terrible mileage but for me comfort is the most important. Very happy with the car now and hope to run it up past 500k as this is the last of this type of car.
I have a 2005 LS430 with chrome 18" wheel and sport suspension I think. My wheels are peeling and leaking air, so I need new wheels. Would these Infinity g37 wheels fit (see pic)?
