Has some minor issues which I am attending to, bought at a wholesale lot, totally on a whim, saw it, decided to check it out, 5 min test drive then bought it, biggest issue is a bit of rust in a few small spots, but it runs and shifts flawlessly! So far I am loving it, coming from many modified cars especially lowered cars this thing rides like a cloud!

A very well maintained UL that was purchased in 2005 by Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, CA to use as a "mini-limo". Interior like new, body an easy 9/10, well maintained and still drives like new. I have owned many air suspension cars and even a GMC RV with rear air suspension so there is no fear there on my part. The car has had two timing belt changes and has been driven well throughout its life. I am owner number three.

One owner, few scratches on bumper, about 5-6 small hail dents. Passenger side window motor is dying, and smart key works partially. It can lock and unlock with the clicker on the key and can start car without using the key in ignition, but cannot lock or unlock from the door handle button.
Nice find Rickochet. Looks clean. Might want to try changing the battery in the FOB if you haven't already. Easy to do with online instructions/manual.

Great shape, a few days of detailing and doing the scheduled maintenance has it running and looking like new. Hoping to get 2-3 years, 40-60K miles out of it. Based on everything I read while researching this model, I think I should be able to get at least that much.

In retrospect, way too much! lol I did get it from a "new" car dealer which accounts for some of it. And they did redo the front brakes with Lexus OE and fix the driver door actuator free, so maybe it was a good thing.
But I paid $14,xxx (embarrassing) for a 2006 with 81k, in 2016. Carfax says it's value today is $5,350. That's pretty bad (new car depreciation territory), but I'll put it out there anyway so maybe others won't make the same mistake.
p.s. since mine is a 2006 and the last year made, it implies that nobody with a LS430 should carry comp/collision. Why pay all that money, to have insurance cut a check for $5k. DOH!

This was my first Craigslist purchase, and knock on wood should be a good one. I do think I overpaid for the car a tad bit, but the service records from the life of the vehicle of the previous single owner, along with all the recent maintenance records was worth it in my book. The previous owner spent thousands upon thousands on the big ticket items in the last two years alone, this gave me a peace of mind. Only very minimal rock chips on the front end and everything else is absolutely mint for a such a high mileage car. Everything works as it should, including all the the cool Ultra gadgets in the back, only things that need fixing is the ML sub woofer and the telescoping steering wheel motor. Vehicle was garaged its entire life, the paint is smooth like glass, and all of the interior is also mint as well. Not a single scratch or rip in the leather, still smells like near new leather! Also, even normal wear and tear interior trim pieces such as the plastic mount surrounding the GPS unit are usually scratched in most used LS's I've looked it, mine has not one single scratch... looks brand new! Besides the big ticket items like water pump, steering wheel pump, spark plugs, timing belt.... another bonus is the air suspension was swapped for standard struts and coils, rides very well! Most all suspension parts were also recently replaced, as well as hood and trunk shocks. Hope there is years more of worry less driving left in her!
