Default Just picked up an 05 UL!!

Hey guys, just picked up a new project/DD! It is an 05 UL 60.4k!

Been doing a lot of searching and have come up with some near future plans...

I plan on trying to adjust the factory air....looks like others have had luck with the sensor adjustments and using the data controllers...any place worth recommending for picking one up for the $$? I will probably be using the DIY threads I found searching if any more advice is needed.

I plan on using my HR3s that are currently on my other car....I have 4 20x9.5 +40s with 225/35/20s on them.

Do you forsee me having much clearance issues with the fenders? I can roll if needed, but I don't plan on getting super flush with the fenders, although spacers will be used if needed. Just want a clean setup, nothing out of the ordinary...something that can be DD easily.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats! I think white is one of the best colors on this car...

I always buy BK/BK....I really wish this one had dark interior, but I got a really good deal on it, so figured it was time for a change!

White always looks clean to me though, and was my Second choice. So far so good!

Congrats on the purchase! White looks great on these cars.

You shouldn't have to roll the fenders, but it wouldn't hurt to do it just in case.

Congrats. White / ecru is a great combo in warm climates.

You wont need to roll the fenders at all. Besides, you can't really roll these fenders without kinking them up since they are double-wall with screw holes for a plastic trim strip.

Nice pick up... I guess being in NJ where we don't pump our own gas, I've never noticed until now in the photo how high up the gas filler door seems, even the LS460 next to it seems high up there.

Have fun making the vehicle your own, give it some style...

Glad to hear about the fenders. I know some guys run crazy wide wheels with super low offsets....figured these would be a cake.

Figure I would mount them and see what they look like...might have to run some spacers to get the look that I want, but I know these cars don't absorb as much offset as my BMW (+8)

When I first looked at the car, the nav screen did the "check the system" error....they said they fixed it, so when I came back the next day to buy it, the same problem ensued, so they took it in the back for a few hours working on it....said they cycled it a few times, and that the problem was fixed...

Now it is doing it again! They said they would fix it/work on it again, but just wondering if it will only be a band aid to fix it until the Nav wants to give out? The car has really low miles...and was maintained well, but I am afraid of them throwing a crazy bill at me down the road to fix the nav.

Been searching and it looks like some people get their nav refurb'd for a few hundred dollars, but what's the chances I can get Lexus to pay for this since I just bought the car?

Congrats! I almost bought that car but couldn't get over the light interior. Ended up with a black /black ul.
