Is this a good price for a 2006?
I am looking at an 06 LS430 with 74k miles. White/beige interior with nav, smart key, etc. Car is absolutely immaculate with clean car fax and talked to previous owner who did all maintenance and babied it. Dealer wanted $27k but will take $23k plus $300 tax. Tires are ok but will need replacing soon. Is this a good price? If not, what is the right price for this car?
Thank you

did you drive it?i didnt see in the that it has nav anywhere in the ad.if it does then i would say it is a fair price.there are a few out there so if you feel its a good deal then go for it.
i bought mine over 2 years ago for $31k a cpo with 52k miles on her and the loan value is still $29k today so these cars hold very good book value.good luck with your search.

if its immaculate and $23k you should jump on it...that's relatively low miles. When you find a cream puff you need to jump on it because there are lots of people looking for cars like this..in the end paying plus or minus a $1000 or so just doesn't matter compared to long term benefit of getting a pristine car. .

I did drive the car and it drove great. The only thing I noticed was a lot of wind noise at the top of the windshield at highway speeds. Researching this forum, many other owner have had the same problem and it is apparently caused by the rubber gasket at the top of the windshield coming up a little with age and can be fixed with sealant or a new rubber piece. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just to give you somewhat of a comparison I just purchased a 2006 LS430 with 38,000 miles on it and has Nav and the Mark Levinson sound system. I was able to get it for $27,500 and had the dealer pay to upgrade the Nav and order another key fob it their expense. I did this in Western Illinois so it may not be a fair comparison to where you live. I agree with the earlier posts that if you get them down to $22,000 - $23,000 you should go for it.

The lowest they will go is $23k plus $400 for tax and tag. It needs floor mats ($130) and Satellite radio module ($600). So I will end up with $24k in it. So I have delayed my decision as I am not sure I want to put $24k in this 6 year old car with 74k miles on it.
