Was my 03 LS430 a smart deal?

You do not get a whole lot of car these days for 13k, trust me. Honda accords are a dime a dozen and not 1/2 the car you have. If ya drive em right they get good MPG's for a V8. I have an 04 with 170k first unexpected repair, nail in the tire month ago.
Car Unsupportive Significant Other you speak of is the tough choice, LOL. get what makes you happy it is your car.

Is this significant other your wife or girlfriend? If girlfriend, lose her... ha ha.
Cost of ownership for the ls will probably be less than your mustang and about the same as the rxs. As for speeding tickets ,I would say if you're a speedy driver you 're probably not gonna get any less tickets than if you had before. LS is so smooth that you might actually get more tickets because you're speeding without realizing it.

People use to say the same thing to me when I first bought my SC three years ago. Once I lowered it and threw wheels on it, everyone went crazy over it.
Everyone seems to love the LS though. It only takes a nice trip or two in an LS430 to make people want one.
