Will you ever drive anything else?

Toyota reliability cinched the deal for me. Quality, fit and finish, NVH ( or lack of it), styling, engineering, all helped make an LS the obvious choice. Yeah, I occasionally drive something else, my Toyota T100 and my son's Scion xB. A Toyota has never let me down.

No question, if I can afford it, I will drive a Lexus LS, they best cars I have ever owned...and I've had about 10 cars over the years (Chevy, Ford, Honda, Audi), nothing beats the LS in refinements and quality.
I thought about a S class MB but, only for a few days... My LS is my true love as cars go...(I am married so..)

That is/was my problem too! But I am pretty confident I will keep the LS till the wheels fall off! There is nothing better. I could upgrade it after few years but I think the 430 has the most timeless design.

The LS is still in a class of its own for the years 04-06. The 400/460 are a fine auto's also. There are many nice cars out there now with new technology and drive characteristics. There are many new cars almost as quiet as the LS for under 30k.
Go drive a few. You will be amazed at how far cars have come since 04-06 and how well designed and though out the LS is for its time. When they call to get you to buy a car you drove politely say "noy in the market right now"
You are still hard pressed to get smartkey, auto up down windows, the LS climate system, stereo etc. without shelling out a ton of $, but it is fun to drive an A6 A8 Passat Infinit, CC, Lacrosse, BMX Chrysler 300 etc to see new technology and how the LS still competes. Be at a dealer saturday 9 am before the family is in gear and drive 1 or 2 for an hour, as we all seem too be car enthusiats. Just a thought.
I am going to get in my LS the am and make the 90 mile round trip to work as I have for the past 125k miles though and smile every time..

I know I am new to both the forum and the LS430 in general. Actually I have owned it for less then 24hours. That being said I love the car and how it both feels AND drives. I went from a Cobalt SS and a Ford Ranger pick up truck with over 200k miles to this car and its the best decision I have ever made regarding a vehicle. It is everything I thought the Lexus would be. It felt weird getting in my truck after driving the LS. But in a very good way
