If you have the climate controlled seats, you may be interested in my post last year: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...t-working.html

I am very interested in your post. I could easily find the fuses, but I am unable to find the relays.

. The LS has been referred to as bulletproof....my 1998 Maxima has all those features, except that the tilt/telescope is manual. None of the features broke in 18 1/2 yrs. to fix each on the LS is costly to the LS owner....either timewise if DIY, or pocketbook at the dealership...

I find it interesting how the backs work really well, as expected, like our other 3 cars, yet the fronts in the LS, do not. One would think the driver is more important than the rear seat passengers...(I rode in the back while my wife drove, she said she felt like an Uber driver

You have the climate controlled seats so that means you have two 'hair dryers" on each seat. One is located in the center bottom cushion and the other is located in the center back cushion. They suck air in from underneath the seat and blow it through the seat. When you turn on the seat warmer, an element warms the air in the nozzle and that is your heater. There aren't regular heating elements. In my car the center bottom unit went out. It's common to get this unit wet, maybe by cleaning the leather with too much liquid and short the heating element out... The center back unit will continue to work, which confused me because I could feel some heat. But my wife reported feeling cool air on her bottom and she was right.
There is probably no cheap fix here. I paid an upholstery shop to tear mine apart and install the replacement, made in Mexico, Lexus "hair dryer" .
Good luck!
