Help!..Mirror motor wont stop!
How do I fully disable the passenger mirror motor that controls the folding. I already tried unplugging it from the button on the dash and that didnt work, Everytime i start the car the gear strips and winds. Im trying to prevent further damage till i get it fixed.

It solves the same problem another way with much less butchery. I myself don't even use this site to search for threads because it's not accurate. I just search it up on the internet.
EXE: bucking and surging Lexus. Just put Lexus at the end and Club Lexus or Lexus owners club will pop up.
To reset the ECU, all you have to do is disconnect the negative battery terminal for a couple minutes. In so doing, this makes the vehicle have to re learn it's set-up factory procedures. Hopefully this will stop the problem. GL!

Ok so I tried unplugging batt to reset ECU and that didnt work. Then I unplugged the fuse that controls the motor and that worked but it kills all power to the passenger door, (door lock, window, lights, etc). So I guess I will have to manually unlock the door buy hand and not use that window for a while. Oh well I guess its better than causing more damage in the long run. Thanks to everyone who helped me find a solution!..
