Default steering wheels always tilts up when I exit the car

minor stuff but ... when I leave my 05 LS, the steering wheel tilts upwards all by itself, I suppose to give me more room to exit .... I don't need more room so wondering if there an easy fix to stop this, or do I need to take it to the dealer? ( I'm tired of having to lower the steering wheel every time I start the car. )

Thanks

It's controlled via CBEST settings, accessible only by dealer's scantool. Sorry.
BTW, if it's functioning correctly, it should lower by itself too after you turn the ignition.

Yeah just make sure you set your mirrors seat and steering wheel and set the memory with one of the memory buttons on your driver door. It should return where you had it when you start your car.

I had mine disabled the first day I bought the car. The steering wheel will still extend/retract using the memory seat feature, but to have it automatically extend/retract is known to wear the motor out, resulting in a $$ repair when the motor starts grinding.
