i bought a 2002 ls and have had issues with the door seals creaking. i went to lexus twice for an oil change, and they have a silicon spray in a red bottle they use and wipe it on with a rag. this has almost eliminated the issue. i have read that formula 303 works and thats what i will be using in the future but the threads were not easily found so wanted this information easily found
just spray the silicon or formula 303 on a rag and apply to seals.
hope this helps, i have read sometimes the silicon can dry out the rubber so i will try the 303
cheers

I did use the 303 but it did not stop the creak.
The nature of the creak give me the impression the rubber is gripping the glass rather than sliding over the glass.
I have not tried silicone, I'm wondering if that would create more slip on the glass ?

Kinda unavoidable in these at those speeds, air starts getting rammed past the leading drivers and passenger door seals....

If you scroll up, it was back in 2013.

Interesting topic. As nitpicky as I am, I have always just accepted this. It is related to climate for me, different temps and humidity levels so maybe since it doesn't do it all the time I let it go. I like the idea of putting something on them, but the warning earlier about clothing and the Honda grease speaks to me. We all scrape our door sills at some point. I can't be afraid of my door. Maybe some silicone inside the sill...hmm.
**Those of us who have tint have to be cautious we don't get something that will breakdown the tint adhesive! Good to check with a tinter or other discussion board first.

Owh my bad haha

I am at the same level as you when it comes to nitpickyness.
For now I am going to make a test with a good caranuba wax on my window.

@NLLex , The Netherlands! I have worked for Philips for nearly 9 years now here in Washington State, USA. Amidst 80,000 employees, they employ 20,000 Americans. Great place.

As for the wax, please report back how that goes. I will keep an eye on this thread.

Yes Philips! Thats ours
I loved Philips for its quality but last decade they outsourced many of their products to other brands and thats not so good for the quality. Its still a strong brand though.
I used to have the more expensieve line of the ambilight tv's which really made a difference in comfort for the eye's but they dont make them like they used to so I went to Samsung and both my Samsung tv's are broken right now haha. Maybe all tv's are crap nowerdays except B&O.

I'm sure the wax trick will work. It makes is really smooth.

I would advice to buy Collonite wax. "Swiss Wax" quality for 1% of the price.
