Default Good deal or not

Hello All,

I just bought a black ls430 - 2006 - not UL.

It has 32,000 miles on it. I paid 25k for it but with tax and financing I am in for $29k

It is in immaculate condition. it has 18' tires with the upgraded chrome rims. Navigation as well. Good deal or not?

thanks

whats an average mileage, same year, LS430 sell for? Or what is the average asking price compared to what they asked for your car?

How good a deal it is depends on what other options it has. The "official" 2006 LS430 specs are at http://www.lexus.com/cpo/model_library/LS/2006.html

but it's easier to see what packages it has by looking at the information for the similar 2005: http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/2005/2005LSspecs.pdf

The price sounds about right from the few low mileage 04-06 LS430's I saw last year. I've seen a few like yours go in the $25k to $30k range.

I don't think it's a "bad" deal, but that's definitely on the higher end of what they typically go for, which is to be expected when you buy from a dealership.

I bought an 06 modern luxury package with 20,500 miles on it about 2 months ago...tax and everything out the door for $29,200... to me it was the car I wanted with the color and options so in my eyes it was a good deal. If its what you want and it makes you happy its a good deal

Very low mile, cream puff "mint" cars are rare these days and typically sell for a premium. You can by 04-06 LS for a lot less with higher miles and in average condition - basically same exact car $5-10k less but a significantly different buying and owning experience especially if you intend to keep the car in nearly mint condition. If that's not important then the lower priced, average shape car would be a way better value.
