2006 Iam new to this car only have had it 4 weeks. My mirrors use to go down when I put it in reverse now they dont. What did I touch?

the switch for the mirrors has a left or right switch,put in the position for the mirror you want to go down.

Place the mirror switch in the left or right position. If its in the center they will not go in the down position when you put your car in reverse.

Bringing an old thread back from the dead......

Just got my second 430, this time the keeper....... 06 Flint Mica, loaded and VERY clean!

Anyway......when selecting reverse the mirrors do rotate down but the passenger mirror moves at least TWICE as far as the driver mirror. So on the passenger side I can see the curb but not on the driver side.

Do I have a malfunction or is this normal?

Also I need to clean the mirror switch contacts because the adjustment buttons respond sporadically, but I don't think this is related to the reverse "look down"
