UPDATE: Received 2 switchblade keys today. Swapped out remote from original master key to switchblade key casing. I didn't have to program the new key and it works perfectly!
As for 2nd remote purchased from Ebay, I had to program both the remote and transponder new cut key to start the car after installing the remote to second switchblade key casing. So just follow the instructions posted earlier and you should have both switchblade keys fully working!
Total cost:
2 switchblade keys precut & empty remote casing - $46.99 shipped Ebay seller: 1010keys
1 uncut Lexus LS430 key & remote(used) - $59 + $4.99 shipping Ebay seller: keys_star
Total cost to acquire both working switchblade keys with remote(1 used, 1 existing from master key): $110.98, beats paying $250+ each for normal keys from the dealer. Hope this helps.

As an update, I have had my switchblade key for a few weeks now and I do not like it. I still have the steering wheel programmed to swing up and away upon key release and insert. When you get in the car it is awkward to put the key in because the wheel is so close to the ignition. You must bend your wrist at an odd angle to insert and twist. Removal is easier because I have the wheel all the way out when driving.
I am going to have the dealer change the setting so the wheel does not move on entry and exit. This will help but still I am not sold on the switchblade concept for our cars.
