Seat padding.
I have 92K miles on the LS430 as of this morning. I figured I would have the seat padding replaced as the driver's seat has been rather flat for a while now. I ordered the molded padded cushion through Sewell.
The picture that Sewell has on the parts website shows a harness included for the heater element. Upon receipt of the part, it did not come with the element or harness. I spoke with Sewell about this, and they said the element is reusable, and sold separately. I advised of the picture for the part on their website, and they should look to replace it, or put a disclaimer on the order page that the picture is incorrect.
Either way, I brought the padding to a local interior auto shop. They did a spectaular job, and had me out in under two hours. After driving to work from the shop, I realized I should have done this over 20K miles ago. The seat is a bucket again, and the ventilated portion woorks like a true AC duct. My bottom was actually cold upon arrival at work.
Thought I would share,
Randy B

Thanks for the info with pic. Mine is 05 and I feel that the driver side seat kind of sagging.
One thing though, is the listed price is higher on their website than yours??
Thanks again.

darn guys, cmon, stop this.... there's many types of this cushion - w and w/o ventilation, w and w/o heating etcetc.
send your VIN to sewell and you'll get the correct one for you.
gomboy - register for ClubLexus discount and enjoy low low price!

I'm wondering if you're better off just letting the upholestery shop fill it with their own foam. After all, you're going to be back at square one with a flat seat pretty quickly if just reuse what came from the factory.
Unless I had the ventilated option, I'd save my money. Even then, my ventilated seats are pretty worthless.

Randy! some info. turns out, that that wire, displayed on the photo and epc pictures are not heating! it's passenger presence sensor and only installed on RH side.
I am wondering, if 03+ foam pad will fit in 01 (seats looks identical)? Cos it's cheaper and easier to get.
