Can't help ya with the pictures. How out of the ordinary is the coolant exchange, just wondering if it is a dealer thing or dyi. Any special things to note? Thanks

I was at the dealer for a 159 dollar trans change, was called 1/2 way to work with their ES 350, mis quote 04 needs special trans fluid and technique another 100. Isn't the trans fluid WS from 2001 on just pre 04 didn't have a dipstick?

Anyway quoted me 250 for coolant exchange. Cripes! Called at 5:50 I was going to be 10 minutes late for 6 pm dropoff, got there none there to check me out at 6:10. Just took loaner home need to go back in AM.
Tried the dealer been there done that its over.

Thanks again Jimbosr1

The 04-06 does use WS (only!), and does not have an ATF dipstick.

I believe that WS requires a sealed system (no dipstick) since it absorbs moisture, but maybe an expert can give better information.
