Perfect 2005 LS 430 12.5k miles! - price $25K?

8 month ago, I purchased one-owner, Cypress Green 2005 LS430, ML package with 25k mile for $25k. I was debating if it was bit over-priced but I just fell in love with the color and how clean it was inside and out. I have added on about 10k miles since the purchase and I enjoy it thoroughly. It all depends on the buy's preference. AND I do love that white pearl color.

A super low mile pristine car from Texas is definitely a very rare find and worth a premium price. Having said that I'd say you are exactly right at $25 k its about 2k too high. Assuming its been garage kept, if you really want a pristine car with absolutely no rust it's most definitely the way to go.
If buying a nearly new condition super low mile car is important to you then its a good deal. Personally I think super low mile cherry condition cars are almost indistinguishable from buying a brand new car so it's well worth the premium price to a buyer like me.
Comparisons of this 2005 LS430 to high mile early ls460s are poor comparisons in terms of value. I personally would not own an LS460 earlier than 2009. The LS460 is a great car but it is very different from an LS430. The LS460 is a much higher performance car - huge hp increase, worse gas mileage, and it's a more complex car, parts are more expensive, and likely to cost a lot more to maintain over time than the average LS430.
Driving my 2006 LS430 I feel like I'm driving a beautiful, classic style, super well built car. If you feel like you would be driving a "dated" car then the LS430 is not for you...the LS460 is the way to go for folks that need/want to feel they are driving the latest style car.
And by the way I personally would avoid any LS with the NAV option - the screen and software on these dvd disk driven NAV systems is hopelessly outdated, and resolution is laughably grainy compared to modern devices. In the long run the inbuilt NAV systems will be viewed as a high maintenance embarrassment in these great cars.

These cars make all the sense in the world to collectors and fans of the car.
If you plan on driving 20k per year in it, and sell it later...I wouldn't waste my time and money.
But if you plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off, it might be a great start with such low miles

I own a 2003 ls430 that I love with 85,000. I just lusted for that six speed transmission and the new car's smell. (not very rational, huh?)

$ 25,000 for an 8 year old Lexus LS .... .
My thoughts are don't feel rushed to buy it unless you have to have it for your car collection / museum
Not too many people want an old car, and if they do, they are not going to pay that much for it. ( except maybe you for whatever reason )
If you plan on driving it everyday, you are really tossing your money away

Is this LS base or Premium. Of all the options I value the Blue tooth and then the back camera and bumper sensors of my current ML Sport Susp over my old Premium. Having had the Premium and ML I would need the premium for sure and with the driving I do if you could add a decent Bluetooth they really all are the same mechanicals and the rest is fluff need it or not. 23, 500 k It's a deal in these terms to me

..A low mileage car will go for extra premium ,but not this kind of premium.

I miss my LS430 Ultra, should have never sold it. On this LS430 with 12,500 miles. The Bank loan is $25K even though the market value is $19K, since you personally know the seller and the car at $25K is a steal, its like getting almost brand new car (mechanically) for more than half off.. BUY IT..
