Default Perfect 2005 LS 430 12.5k miles! - price $25K?

2005 white perfect 2005 LS 430. Miles spread evenly over time. One owner and I know her and vehicle.. Brand new Perrelli tires. Not a blemish. Garaged. No nav. No air shocks. Always in Texas. Basic car.

Private seller. Price apparently firm at $25k . Seems $2000 too high but cannot find a comparable offer.

12,500 miles verified!

Should I pull the trigger? Owner says he will garage it for himself later rather than sell under $25k and I believe him.

Really need advice. Thanks in advance

Something like this will last you for years and years hassles free, as long as it's driven from time to time and not at a full stop for long time...

I would personally go for it - it's a "new" old quality built vehicle

Definitely over priced for a base, even if it has such low miles but if it fits what you want, then go for it. However, if you're getting it just to settle, then you'll not be happy with it in the long run.

$25K is LS460 country, and while the LS430 is an incredible car, it's no LS460 by quite a stretch.

I'd say it's rare with that low mileage and condition and worth it.
Though the style is a bit dated, the build quality (or was that the LS400)is said to be better than a LS460.

Question is, are you an art collector?
when you find the mona lisa price is irrelevant if you can afford
the car is a gem put if your looking for perfection in a car look elsewhere over the next couple of years seals, and rubbers still needs to be replaced because of age, so it will be a 30 k investment over 2 years.
you cant find that car with that mileage so if you want a car that will last a lifetime buy it if your looking for perfection pass, there have been advances in automobile and technology, even seat technology is much better than the older ls. the newer seats for long drives are better. just my two cents. enjoy

Honestly, low miles factor in when a car is known to last only to 100 or 150k, but LS which can run to 300k+, overpaying for low miles doesn't make sense.

Ya but if you buy it with 12k and put 60 on it, versus buy at 60 and put 60 in it resale value will be much higher and nice to drive a almost brand new 430. If you want to drive or fly to get a LS460 with 60k miles, there is one in Queens, more power to you. Any 460 is gonna have 70-80k on it or more for 25k

have to agree with Alexus, overpaying for a low mileage car that will easily last 250k plus doesn't make sense. Another way to think of it.....you can find pristine LS430s with 80k miles, essentially in as good shape as this car, all day long, for much less. So why pay the premium

i would rather find a 1 owner babied one with all the options under a 100k miles and pocket the difference.

Not exactly correct logic because if he overpays now, he will take a bigger hit later reselling if he doesn't someone also that wants to overpay for a "low mile" 80k LS. I think still better off finding a clean 80k now at market or below market and if you sell at 140k you sell at then market value.

What is your annual mileage?
How long do you intend to own it?
How is the interior and does it match with the mileage?
Are you already dreaming about LS460 in near future?

Super low mileage cars with really high premiums don't really make financial sense, but if it's between that and buying a brand new car, they look like screaming bargains.

Are you really going to spend nearly $10,000 in additional repairs compared to the same LS with higher miles. No way. And the low mileage one is going to depreciate much faster. Once that car no longer has super low miles, the premium falls back to Earth.
