Default 2004 lexus ls430

I changed my oil and put my oil filter back on, but for some reason it's leaking oil is there some kinda O ring there that came off??? I mean besides the one on the actual filter?? I already changed 3 filters had this car 4 years always changed oil myself never had any problems.

that sounds strange. did u lub the O ring on the filter prior to screwing it back on? maybe try a another filter?

No... but what happened to me one time... the o-ring off the previous filter stuck to the engine block and I did not notice it. Screwed the new one on and it was leaking... so took it off and found 2 o-rings on the filter. Removed the extra one and re-installed same filter and the leak was gone. Might want to look there.

Ye I lube the O ring on the filter added quarter of oil in it I checked there's not other O rings and that's my 3 rd filter on it.

whoa... 3rd filter... we have a problem here... should not be happening...can you determine exactly where the oil is leaking from? It may be dripping off the filter, but where does it originate? What you're describing just doesn't make a lot of sense to me...

It's leaking from a filter when u tighten the filter it's leaking right there where the O ring on the filter.

What kind of filter are you using? Is it possible that the filter is not the correct one. Is this leaking when the filter is installed with no engine running or anything? If you can't tighten it it up hand tight and it is leaking at that point, then something is probably wrong with the filter, assuming the engine surface is clean.

Bosch 3330 3rd one I bought its purolator pl10241
Going to a dealer now to see if there's a O ring on that screw that u tighten filter.
